Confidentiality
At Amsterdam Translation Services, we know how important it is that your texts are treated with the utmost care. This not only means that we will always provide you with a high-quality translation, but also that we maintain the strictest confidentiality in handling your documents. We are ISO 9001:2008 and NEN-EN 15038:2006 certified, and our safety procedures have been established in accordance with the standards of these certifications. You are more than welcome to visit our office to consult our manuals and regulations.
Our confidentiality procedures mean among other things that all our employees have signed a confidentiality agreement upon joining our firm, but also that we have taken serious measures to secure our building and our computers, for example, and that paperwork with client-sensitive information is destroyed separately. In cases where we work with freelance professionals, they sign a separate confidentiality agreement for each new assignment. None of your texts will fall in the wrong hands, in other words!
An added advantage of our (secure) approach to filing, by the way, is that it is possible to retrieve your texts from our archives five years after they were first translated. For years, we have been working for, among other parties, (major) firms of solicitors and banks, for whom we translate important documents such as press releases, contracts and annual reports. These translations are generally made before the documents are 'made public', and consequently involve extremely sensitive information that we safeguard with the utmost care.
If you would like to receive a separate signed statement from us for a specific assignment, we are naturally more than happy to comply. If you would like us to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for your company, do not hesitate to send it to us.
